"Girl in a Garden" This is one of my favorite paintings. The girl is me. And the garden's foliage is not quite real. I see that my art is surreal and spiritual, not quite in this world.
Watercolor is the medium on paper."Golden Garden" is an outgrowth of "Girl In A Garden", another garden of beauty with birds and a water creature, neither of whom quite belong. But we all belong together. My art makes that connection. This could have been called EDEN. I love it. The birds appear again in my work. The flowers and leaves and fish are unexpected in this enviornment.
